Robert!
Tricia has found a perfect apartment share in Park Slope with two ex-classmates. She is doing a paid (paid!) internship at the Clinton Foundation.
I have booked my ticket (one-way). Expect landing 31st December. We shall greet the New Year together.

Tricia in the hospital. She had a bad fall during her ski trip. Suffered severe concussion.
She’s in a coma, Robert. Doctors don’t know which way it will go.
Can no longer come, obviously.
Keep us in your prayers, my friend.
Love,
J.

Oh Jane. I am so sorry. Poor, poor Tricia.
To think that I was there on the day of her christening.
I have booked a flight for tonight. I didn’t want you to argue. It’s done. I’m coming.
I’ll be staying with Rosa and Henry in the Upper West Side.
You are not alone my friend.
Love always,
Robert

Robert,
Thank you for all your support these last few months. It meant so much to me that you would come and be by our side.
She’s gone Robert. My baby is gone. She’s not coming back. Ever.
We’re having a small service at St Peter’s Church on Sunday 3rd June at 4pm. I would love it if you could join me.
I don’t know if I can put her in the ground alone.
Love,
J.
