Attention Wal-Mart shoppers
What will you tell your grandchildren?
I just loved plastic so much.
I didn’t know. It wasn’t just me.
Gas was cheap. I had to get by.
If I didn’t, others would. Bullets
were on sale. We had to protect
ourselves. It was normal to always
be unhappy and want more. They
delivered. It was Christmas. I had
never seen a seagull with a belly
full of plastic until it was too late.
When the flood came, the wall
couldn’t hold so we don’t have
to tell anybody anything especially
deeds we cannot imagine but do daily.
