Here's a bit of background on some of the contributors to this issue:

• Ekaterina Borovikova ("The Stupid Hotel") lives in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where she writes stories and scripts in the psychological thriller genre. Here the original text of "The Stupid Hotel" has been translated from Russian by Irina Modelskaya.
• Robert Casella ("Terminus") is a former journalist now living in Las Vegas.
• Brian Clark ("Queen of the Tabloids") lives in St. Catharines, Ontario. A former journalist, Brian is currently looking for a publisher for a novel and a collection of ghost stories.
• Glen Donaldson ("Countdown to Romance") lives in Brisbane, Australia where he operates a pair of blogs, Scenic Writer's Shack, and Lost in Space Fireside.
• Gregg Dotoli ("Pseudoku") is a white-hat hacker and poet living in Nutley, New Jersey. Gregg's collection Poetry Fob is available from Underground Books.
• Ivanka Fear ("Gone for Good") lives in Moorefield, Ontario, where she develops her poetry and has recently completed a suspense novel.
• Iraj Fereshteh ("The Fall") is a Persian poet who writes experimental poetry in both Persian and English. "The Fall" is excerpted from his first work of fiction in English, The Travel Diaries of a Persian Poet in Kanada's Tooronto in the Age of Sultan Harper, available on Amazon.
• Taha A. Lemkhir ("The White Room") is a writer and photographer in Morocco. Taha's articles appear regularly on the Times of Israel blog.
• Cory McRae ("Pain + Love – Pain + Love") is a neurodivergent teacher and writer in Squamish, British Columbia. Cory's book of poetry The Butterfly King: And Other Poems For Self Reflection is available at Amazon, and his novel, The Marionette Man will be on shelves soon.
• James Nelson ("Mythical Moments") is a writer and cartoonist in Dublin, Ireland. See James's new website, jimnelsonstudio.
• Hervé Suys ("Confession in the Birthing Room") lives in Ronse, Belgium. Hervé says he "started writing short stories whilst recovering from a sports injury and hasn't stopped since."
